1. Introductory provisions
This code sets out the basic rules and ethical standards that are binding on all employees, management and, where applicable, external collaborators of EUROSTEA CABLES s.r.o., ID No. 210 74 208, registered in the Commercial Register of the Czech Republic.
The aim of the code is to promote legal, professional, honest, and responsible behavior and conduct.
2. Basic principles
Ethics: We treat others with respect regardless of their position, gender, origin, religion, age, or opinions. We act honestly, fairly, and in accordance with the law and internal regulations.
Confidentiality: We maintain confidentiality regarding personal, sensitive, and business information.
Loyalty: We act in the best interests of the company and avoid conflicts of interest.
Professionalism: We conduct ourselves professionally and represent the company with dignity.
Safety first: The safety and health of individuals is our top priority.
3. Conduct in the workplace and towards third parties
We maintain a professional appearance and communicate in a civilized manner. We act with respect to others.
We avoid any form of corruption, bribery, or unfair practices. Based on our Work Regulations, employees are prohibited from accepting any gifts or unjust enrichment from any person in connection with their work for the employer; if such a gift was delivered without the employee’s cooperation, they must immediately notify the company’s senior management, which will decide on further action.
We are subject to statutory financial and comprehensive process audits and cooperate with expert advisors, authorities, and state organizations.
4. Prohibition of discrimination
We create a safe and inclusive work environment free from discrimination, harassment, or bullying.
We guarantee equal treatment regardless of: gender, race or ethnic origin, nationality, language, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief, worldview, marital status, pregnancy or motherhood, social origin, or financial circumstances.
These principles apply in particular to: recruitment and selection of employees, job classification and assignment of tasks, remuneration and provision of benefits, training and development, and termination of employment.
We prohibit any direct or indirect discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, persecution,
or instruction to discriminate.
We ensure the confidentiality and protection of all those who report discriminatory behavior and guarantee that they will not be subjected to any retaliatory measures. All complaints will be dealt with impartially, confidentially, and within a reasonable time frame.
5. Prohibition of conflicts of interest
Employees must not engage in activities that could affect their impartiality or harm the interests of the company. Any potential conflict of interest or competitive activity must be reported to management.
6. Protection of information, property, and the environment
We handle the intellectual and material property entrusted to us responsibly, protect information and systems from misuse, and ensure the efficient use of company resources.
For the purpose of effective data protection, we cooperate with professional providers of these services.
We have a personal data protection policy in place, which is publicly available on the company’s website.
Based on employment contracts and internal regulations, employees are not authorized to disclose any personal or business information to third parties. The same rules apply to external collaborators.
We honor the declaration of responsible business as a public commitment to behave responsibly towards society and the environment, and we strive for sustainability and continuous improvement.
7. Safety first
The protection of life and health is always our highest priority. Our activities are carried out in such a way as to minimize risks and prevent accidents. Health and safety principles at work are described in our Work Safety Directive. We regularly train our employees.
8. Relationships with business partners
We act professionally, with respect, correctly, transparently, and on the basis of fair competition. We do not accept or provide gifts or benefits that could influence business decisions.
We care about the quality and safety of the products we supply. Providing high-quality customer service and support is key for us.
9. Reporting illegal or unethical behaviour
Employees are required to report any suspected violations of this code to their supervisor, the HR department, or through the established channel. The whistleblowing process is covered in our Work Rules.

10. Consequences of violating the code
Violation of this code may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or other legal action, depending on the nature and severity of the violation.
